Major Mohammad Ali Shah was born on 23 September 1979 in Kolkata, an Indian theater personality, and film actor. A former soldier, he is a member of the Australian Film and Entertainment Festival Board, where he has won two awards. In the Shah Rukh's films, Sriram Raghavan's Agent Vinod, Vishal Bharadwaj Haider, and Tigunshu Dhulia's Yara. He has acted in a film based on the life of Marma Lakhnavi and has played a central character in Doordarshan National Television series, Dil Aishna Hai. He has created an advertisement director for Karlalen, Sabal Singh Shekhawat. He won the "Best Actor" award for an English film at the 4th Delhi International Film Festival. Shah is the son of Lieutenant General Zamir Uddin Shah and nephew of actor Naseeruddin Shah. The Shah used to work in a call center before joining the army because it was a family tradition. He took a short service commission. As a youth lieutenant, Shah was deployed from the regiment in the anti-terrorism areas of Jammu and Kashmir in the Line of Control. He was promoted to the rank of Captain and in the North-East the General Officer Commanding was transferred as an Assignment in the form of ADC, who was his father. After this, he was promoted to Major's post with Assam Rifles. He worked as a television commentator for Doordarshan for the fourth CISM Military World Games organized in Mumbai in 2007. His service was of five years and now he will appear in the new upcoming thriller "Vodka Diary" as the role of 'Sam', which will be released on January 19, 2018.
