His father Chinta Poli (CP) Reddy is a businessman, while his mother Nakshatra studied at Bombay Scottish School in Maim, Mumbai and completed his degree from Sydenham College. His appearance in the singer Pankaj Udhas's "And Ahitha" music video, he starred in the 2002 Hindi film Mane Dil Tuj's Divya, which made his debut.Since then, he has acted in many Bollywood films like Darna Mana, Plan, and Musafir.
