Farhan Akhtar was born on January 9, 1974, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, playback singer and television host. Born in Mumbai for screenwriter Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, he grew up under the influence of Hindi film industry. He started his work in Bollywood, worked as assistant director in Lamhey (1991) and Himalayan Son (1997). Although he initially started his acting career with "The Fakir of Venice", his official start was rock on !! (2008), for which he won a second National Award for Best Feature Film as Producer in Hindi, and he will not get Jandiguni before and after writing the dialogues and acting for critical and commercial success of DoBara (2011) Done and acted.
